We are looking for a team orientated crew leader for our Ann Arbor Office.  This is an integral member of our operation in Ann Arbor. This position would require a unique skill set along with commitment, passion and dedication to the work involved with serving our customers.

Working as part of our crew, you will be responding to disasters involving water, fire or storm damage in homes and businesses.  Our cleaning technicians work to begin the restoration process for properties by performing a wide variety of tasks like removing damaged items and materials, operating equipment to extract water and dry the area, cleaning and disinfecting the structure; packing, loading and transporting possessions to and from our facility for restoration.  Our standard work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Unfortunately, disasters strike at all hours 24/7/365 and this person mustbe available to work when needed.  Also, must be willing to work in unpleasant conditions as needed and various temperatures depending on season.

Competencies required: computer skills, mathematical skills, organizational skills, customer service skills

The ideal candidate would have experience in water mitigation and DOT

All of our employees must pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen.  We require a valid drivers’ license and prefer reliable transportation to and from work (transportation to job site is provided by the company).

We are searching for a dynamic, customer service oriented Project Superintendent with experience working with insurance companies specific to restoration/disaster claims.

 This is a position that requires a uniquely qualified professional.  The project superintendent is responsible to maintain high volume residential and large commercial projects concurrently. 

Ability to manage the life cycle of a project within budget and time frame. 

Must be able to manage/coordinate all personnel involved with the project including agents, sub-contractors and vendors. 

Proven ability to coordinate inspections with bank, building department and all stakeholders.

Knowledge and demonstrated ability to manage costs and budgets including change orders.

Responsible for obtaining building permits. 

Ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in construction management, or equivalent and 10 years experience managing projects for an insurance restoration contractor.  This candidate should also be a hands on superintendent willing to do the work along with the tradesmen and the technicians when needed.

This is a full-time position.  Due to the nature of our business we require our employees to be on-call for after-hours emergency calls and response.

Disasters strike at all hours – this is physically demanding work on a somewhat unpredictable schedule. Our standard work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with a regular on-call schedule for after hours work.

All our employees must pass a thorough background check and drug screen. We are a drug free workplace, and conduct post-accident and random drug screening. We require a valid drivers’ license, and reliable transportation to and from our Perrysburg facility is necessary (transportation to job sites is provided by the company).

Qualifications for the ideal candidate

Working with insurance companies specific to disaster claims

More than 10 years of experience in the insurance restoration industry.

Minimum of five (5) years managing other managers to include broad experience in sales, operations, administration, accounting and human resources

Bachelor Degree in business or related field

For the candidate to be a high performer in this position it is incumbent that a high level of integrity is demonstrated.  The candidate will also have proven ability in effective communication, both written and oral; team building skills; highly organized; adaptable and dependable
